Dear Poirier Families,

Thank you to our PAC and Journey students for volunteering and making our Walk-A-Thon a huge success today. Everyone was moving and smiling. Wednesday was special with our teddy bear picnic and story together. Friday we have no school for Professional Development Day for staff. Monday is no school for Victoria Day.

  • The Peer Helpers are organizing a Garage Sale on Thursday, May 23rd to raise money for the Sooke SPCA. We are asking the students and their families to bring in little things that can be donated to our garage sale. Items can include small toys, books, jewelry, art and craft supplies, stuffies, etc. Items can be dropped off in Mr. Parsons class or the office and will range in price from $1 to $5 and freezies will be sold for $1.
  • If you send sunscreen to school please remind your child to use it inside and then leave it in their backpack. We have some students spraying it on others who are allergic to ingredients in some sunscreens. Thank you.
